Monza, the third-largest city of Lombardy, is an important economic, industrial and administrative centre north of Milano.

Hazard: flood

Area: 33km²

Exposed population: 123’151

Monza is crossed by the River Lambro and in the last decades has been affected by floods that reduced the functionality of the historical centre and generated severe damages.
